The sculpture of a mother with her dead son honors the victims of war and tyranny and sits alone in an empty room lit by an open skyline. The image, the experience is emotional. In fact I might say haunting because it doesn't leave you. It makes you think.
It is so easy to see it - at street level just a short walk from Museum Island you can view it from the open door. You can also enter the space for a closer look at the beautiful sculpture.
Your visit will be brief....the memory will be impossible to forget.
