“An architectural wonderland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Stepping off at Potsdamer Platz your eyes are agog with architecture from the Sony building to the mirror tubers around the station. There is so much to take in and every direction. Don't rush Enjoy
We only scratched the surface.

“Love”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Potsdamer platz was the go to for the first snippets of war history and the Berlin Wall. Near by the station they have left over bits of wall with loads of history and fascinating stories. This is also a very short walk to the Brandenburg gate and the reichstag govt building, which are both very interesting and beautiful. There are various museums near by and parks. Also near the station is the Sony Centre which is a little entertainment center funded by Sony containing the Sony shop, a cinema and I max and various eateries. The roof of the Centre changes colour and is nice to see at night. Near is the Lego shop also and a lovely American called Andys which does great pudding and cocktails. The food also smelt ace!!

Great place to visit. Went in the fastest lift 5 euros. Not the best attraction but lovely view of the platz. Nice walk to holocust memorial and to the brandenberg gate.

“Worth a visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

Potsdamer platz is worth a visit to see the brand new shiny architecture built in the former no mans land but its a pretty soulless place. It houses a cinema, loads of cafes and Lego Discovery Centre ( which is terrible ) . It's not too far from the Brandenburg gate, Hitlers bunker etc so it's too far out of the way from many other attractions.
