The museums are all interesting and worth seeing, but the service was a catastrophe in our case!
Before we went to Berlin, we already booked the tickets online, as we want to go there very early in the morning, because we feared that in the afternoon it might be too crowded. Due to some personal problems, we couldn't make it in the morning, for what we originally reserved the tickets. As we already paid for the tickets, we thought it shouldn't be a problem to pick them up later, especially as we had the phyiscal evidence to prove the reason that prevented us from picking them up in the morning.
So we arrived much later than we planned at the ticket office located on the bridge to the museum island and explained very kindly why we couldn't pick our tickets up in the morning. But the ticket officer wasn't very polite (actually, he was very very unfriendly!) and aswered that he couldn't help us while showing us a completely indifferent attitude! He didn't offer any further help and said the only thing to do, is to buy new tickets! I never experienced such an inpolite attitude of anyone wanting to sell me something!!! And moreover, where is the point of online booking, when it doesn't even allow any delay, even if there is a serious proof for it?!
I was more than angry and just about to ask for an official and report this guy, but then decided to go to the second ticket officer who was actually responsible for groups. And suprisingly she had no problem to give us the tickets and also explained us very detailedly where to go and how to explain our situation to the security.
But still, the attitude of the first ticket officer was more than unacceptable and one of the worst service experiences we ever had.
