“Amazing staff, great location - an overall winner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

This hotel doesn't look much from the outside, however once we entered we could feel that this was going to be a great stay. The staff at the check in desk were the most amazing, friendly and helpful staff we have encountered in all our travels. Even when they were busy checking out a few families they were able to help us with restaurant recommendations, directions through the bustling city and tips with where to see at what times in the day. Rooms were very clean and everything was new and updated. Was a really great stay

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper request a room away from the train line, however the windows were amazing...

This hotel was located in an upscale neighborhood of Berlin, on a quiet street adjacent to the S-Bahn. It was quiet, and very modern. It is located within 10 minutes walk of the large U-Bahn/S-Bahn station in one direction, or 5 minutes walk from the main boulevard with high-end shopping, where the hop-on-hop-off buses stop, in the other direction. There is also an S-Bahn stop within 5 minutes walk. There are plenty of great local restaurants within walking distance. There is also a supermarket just under the train tracks before reaching the station. The rooms were clean and comfortable and of sufficient size.

The outstanding part of this hotel is the breakfast - where other hotels charge anywhere from 8-12 euros or more for breakfast, this hotel includes it in the rate - and our rate per day was under 100 Euros a night! This was an amazing full buffet of hot and cold choices, fresh fruit, breads, yogurts, juices, etc. It was the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen at a Hampton Inn.

I would not consider the location of this hotel a downside at all - in fact, it was in a lot nicer area than a lot of the hotels closer to the center of town and the Alexanderplatz. And, the staff was always pleasant, helpful, and made the stay even nicer!

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor if possible - the twin bed rooms are on the side of the train tracks, but thi...

I visited the hotel when I travelled to Berlin for business purposes andI found it so good that I returned with my girlfriend some moths later.

Location is great, easily accessible with public transportation as well. The building itself is situated in a side street with limited visibility in the most elegant district of Berlin. 5 mins from Ku'damm on foot.

The hotel design is contemporary, really fresh. Rooms are perfectly clean, well designed, comfotable with really good bed. Best part is the bathroom which was spotless and well-sized.

Breakfast is rich with a selection of good quality food.

I am a frequent traveller and I would like to emphasis that the hotel staff is just outstanding, highlighting the front desk team's help with organising programms and providing valuable information on restaurants and sights.

I can recommend this hotel to travellers of all purposes with keeping in mind that this is a 'focused service' hotel.

Really great stay here. Great location (a couple of minutes to the metro) and close to lots of great restaurants. Breakfast was amazing but very very busy. We had to wait for a table on a couple of mornings. Still, not a big deal and certainly didn't bother us.
Room was lovely. Comfortable bed and great bathroom. Especially the conditioner. Not often you get shampoo AND conditioner so I was overjoyed,
By far, the highlight was the staff. Just so friendly and willing to help. Gave all the information we could possibly want and seemed genuinely happy to help.
Would love to come back and stay!

This hotel is situated in a very convenient location in Berlin. The bus from the airport stops 200m away and the U bahn is similarly convenient. Shopping is also very convenient in the main high quality shopping area. The rooms are good, but with a slightly unusual arrangement with the bathroom door - the door either slides to to bathroom of the hanging cupboard. Breakfast is crowded, but the food is plentiful and the variety and quality are good.

Great value for money. Rooms aren't large but well designed with modern nice bathroom but
no tub. Shower quite nice. Beds comfortable. Very nice breakfast which accommodates people from all countries. The staff went beyond for us and were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. We liked 2 restaurants about 2 short blocks from hotel--Paris Bar especially. Not inexpensive but great food and service. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to shopping and transportation. You can go to many of the sites by local transportation. Consider buying the Welcome Pass for transportation. Try to find a place that sells that actual pass--not just a coupon which you have to exchange for the real pass. Also the museum pass allowed us to get in quickly and repeatedly. Try the restaurant at the Neues Museum. Great apple strudel.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor. There is a small extra charge ($15), but I thought it was worth it. There is...

Nice room, quite reasonably sized, with a good modern-style bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakast (included) was very tasty and catered for all different tastes, and even if crowded at times there was no shortage of items. Staff were really nice and helpful. We were on the garden side so the frequent trains didn't bother us at all, I assume at lower levels on the train side it might be trickier. Location was also perfect: metro and bus stops at the corner of the street, a couple of steps to the K'damm, train stops also close by. Definitely a nice area to stay and some nice restaurants in close distance (hotel recommends also some).
