Big, clean, we'll decorated apartment rooms with great facilities (we liked the sauna, spa and happy hour). Absolutely the best location to stay in Berlin, right next to the train station with plenty of cafes, restaurants and a market, lost of shopping to be done! Also very close to Museum island and all the attractions. We walked everywhere, we never even needed a train! Only downsides are the bill feature on your tv screen from the hotel will never be updated, occasionally you need to phone for washing powder or toilet paper and the Internet. To be honest, the Internet is the only bad thing about the hotel. Yes, I think we are being picky, but having hourly charges and codes is a pain, our bill went up a lot because we kept forgetting to turn devices off, not all things 'worked' on the wifi and it didn't work in the bedroom because the signal was too weak (there are a lot of guests who hang out in the lobby to use the free one, so we imagine many guests had similar issues). In this day and age of iPads, phones and stuff it was a hassle. We'd definitely stay again, but really hope they scrap the stupid wifi business and just charge us an extra 5 euros a day for the room!

Dear Jxxxxx255103, many thanks for your review. I am sorry that you had problems with the supply of guest amenities which is definitely not our standard. So good to know that you felt convenient exploring the city by walking tours from the hotel. Of course we will take in consideration your and the others comments regarding the wifi and probably a modification might occur in the future. Probably then we might see you again. Kind regards Annette Jost

We booked this hotel largely due to the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The room was perfectly clean and the access to a partial kitchen that an apartment hotel provides is always wonderful for providing an extra level of comfort and convenience. We also found the staff friendly and helpful. However, the real selling point of this hotel is the excellent location. While Berlin has a fantastic transit network, it really is a huge city in which the sites are spread out - even within what one might call the central core. This hotel's location is both convenient for transportation options and well placed for walking to a variety of sites (Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, and beyond...). We used the TXL bus to reach the hotel from Tegel and were able to take the S-Bahn two or three quick stops to the Hauptbahnhof for our departure. While some of the nearby Hackescher Markt eateries are undoubtedly quite touristy, we used Tripadvisor and other sites to find some excellent options very close to the hotel.

Hotel Adina was the perfect palce to stay, to explore Berlin. We had a spacious apartment hotel. Full size fridge, dishwasher, crockery, microwave, wine glasses. A fabulous wet room, in which one could even use the hairdryer. Wardrobe just outside, so very easy to enter then re-appear feeling good!
The breakfast was superb. The cocktails during happy hour and beyond just as good!
Kaiser supermarket and 'superdrug' 'Boots' type store just around the corner along with all bus, tram and trains (sbahn). Also just nearby a really lovely 'continental' bijou stores, cafes, bars and restaurants. Even two 'picture houses' cinemas to tempt you to learn even more german.

Room Tip: The hotel did have a whirlpool, we didn't try out this area. we will next time! We were on the f...

Dear Eileen H, you really explored our neighbourhood. Great to read that you discovered all the small hidden places, which makes the Hackeschen Markt so interesting. Many thanks also for your review of the apartment and the great cocktails served in our Alto Bar. I am sure you fill the time to come again and discover more hidden places. Looking forward to your return. Kind regards Annette Jost

I challenge you to find a nicer room at a better price than the Adina Hackesher Markt. Those are my top priorities when selecting a hotel, and this one is a standout, for sure. We also like to stay in the city center, but Berlin is really spread out. While exploring the city, I looked for that "perfect" location, but I don't think it exists in Berlin. Here, there are several restaurants nearby, none of those we tried were particular standouts, but all were in the average to above-average category, by our standards. The closest restaurants are at/under the S-bahn (elevated), and there were a couple of homeless persons hanging out (sleeping) right there, a block away from the hotel. So for location, I'd give it a B, and not an A.

The staff was helpful when approached, and the hotel was equipped with everything you could possibly think of, from restaurant to bicycle rentals. The internet usage system is a bit archaic, requiring a new password every hour. Not a major inconvenience, but wifi in the room should be a hotel standard, in my opinion.

Room Tip: We had a studio on the 8th floor with a balcony, and it was quiet, even with the windows open at nig...

We were recently in Berlin & we took the advice again from Trip Advisor & stayed at the Adina. It was a great recommendation. The check-in process was flawless, the front desk employees were helpful & knowledgeable & gave us super dinner recommendations in the area. The hotel location was very convenient-right at a train stop & in a good neighborhood full of restaurants & shopping. We had a small balcony that overlooked the train tracks (in the distance), some of Berlin & was a nice place to relax. The suite was spacious, nice bathroom facilities, & great to have a small kitchen for breakfast & snack time. There was a grocery store right around the corner too! Beside the room being very comfortable & all the other positives, it was spotlessly clean. That is always a top priority for me. If we ever have the privilege of visiting Berlin again, we will definitely stay at the Adina again.

This is a fantastic hotel in Berlin. Our room or I should say apartment was huge with a washing machine and dryer plus a kitchenette. Dont let the inexpensive price fool you into thinking it is too cheap. The staff all seem cheery and more than helpful. Good location near a great market on Friday and Saturday. Many Many restaurants in the area. My wife and I stayed here in May with great weather and we walked everywhere. Berlin is the sort of town that wherever you stay there will be famous landmarks near you and many not near you. THIS IS A GREAT LOCATION and an even better Hotel.

Stayed for six nights in April 2013.

Location was great, on the doorstep of the train and tram; a couple of blocks and a 10 minute walk from the hop-on-hop off bus; 20 euro taxi ride from the airport; and above a supermarket, chemist and cafes.

Apartment was very modern, brilliantly clean, well appointed with stove top, microwave, fridge, dryer and washing machine. Extra 8 euro a day got us a nespresso machine and supplies.

Free internet in the comfortable foyer. Room service, though limited, was excellent.
Bed good (though too hot for my liking) and pillows can be swapped from a menu of options. Great temperature control and a wonderful shower/bathroom which was extremely spacious. English TV channels available and the Australian theme made us feel at home.

We needed a doctor and this was arranged through reception.

Would highly recommend.
