The C/O Berlin is a museum with interesting and worth seeing exhibitions. It also includes a nice shop for books and photos.

“℅ berlin mooved ...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2015

to hardenbergstr. 22-24, 10623 berlin.
the new name is "℅ berlin foundation at the amerika haus"
the amerika haus is situated just nearby the towntrain /s-bahn/ and metro /u-bahn/ station zoologischer garten.
Just in short: its is one of the best photogallery in europe. the current exhibition is really thrilling. I am sure that you will need at least 2 to three hours to see everything.
but: you have always a possibility to make a break in the nice little cafe with a very very long window facing the street. you will enjoy it!

“Good photography gallery at Amerika Haus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2015

The first thing to note is that this gallery gas moved location to that listed by Trip Advisor and in the guide books. It is now at Amerika Haus, near grotty Zoo Station. The exhibitions change of course so it is worth checking the website to see if what they have grabs you. At the moment they have a really absorbing exhibition of Magnum contact sheets, which show the working process and ideas behind the selected print. The other exhibitions were not so engaging - a combination of celebrity pics, 1950/60s hipsters (although Will McBride's old Berlin buildings and street life was good). There is an onsite cafe as well, which is good because outside it's all McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts.

“Photography Gallery near Zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2014

c/o berlin is a photography gallery in the shadow of the Zoolische train station and near Helmut Newton's Museum of Photography (do both in the same day). It is at the "Amerika Haus". It is a relatively small gallery but very busy and packed with photographic art. I was there when the Magnum Contact exhibit was there (associated with the book of the same name). Even though I have the book, the exhibit was enthralling and I spent more time than ususal going through that exhibit. There were other exhibits as well. Bottom line - exhibits come and go but if this is any indication, the exhibits are of very high calibre and of "traditionally" recognized photographers. Perhaps an unwarranted generalization. If you are a photographer, you have to visit this and Helmut Newton's exhibit - half a block away. Unfortunately, they were between exhibits there otherwise I would review it.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Not so crazy about this derelict building and the whole air of neglect about what the gallery looks like and how it is organized, especially if I compare it to Stockholm's Fotografiska that it sometimes collaborates with. Besides, the exhibitions that we saw we pretty weak, there was nothing to give weight to the place. On the other hand, the gallery is very soon moving to a new location, hopefully they'll make better use of that one.
