The hotel is located in a trendy area of East Berlin, with a U-Bahn stop outside the front door. If you have one night in Berlin it is a little far from the key attractions but for a longer break the location is excellent. The style is modern / trendy, and the staff are young and helpful. The hotel is quite small and has a very personal feel. The best feature is the top floor food service with tea, coffee and snacks included and available throughout the day - ideal when returning from a hard day's sightseeing.

You know the tired Hotel cliche about being 'a home away from home' - and they never are -- well this one is! Hospitality is about the details and here you see what happens when great designers get to work on designing the best possible home a way from home experience.
The lounge/breakfast/business/honor bar library floor - yes all than in one space - is brilliant. The Bath room has the best showers i have seen i years - WiFi flows like water as it should, even in the sauna... ( I am so tired of all the hoops some hotels put us through just to get on the web) Did i mention the slippers, the ipod play station, the bathrobe the list is long and every little thing is just the best.
The Sauna actually works it is steaming hot and there is a really cold power shower to follow - not the tepid drizzle that is typical of so many Hotel sauna rooms - add to that superior service but in the personal welcoming attentive way that is so rare.

Roll 'em out Camper we need one of these in all the major European cities.
(I spend 75+ nights in hotels a year)

Casa Camper Berlin is a true jewel in the hotel business.
·It has a perfect location in the historical centre of Berlin which allows walking sightseeing. It is next to a subway and a railway station
·Rooms are nicely decorated with lots of attention to details. Try the slippers or the shower, they are quite unique. My room was very quiet, excellent for a good night sleep
·You can tell that professionals are managing this hotel by the unique attention to details. I love the key card and the little booklet you receive at the reception
·The lounge is open 24/7. Plenty of munchies during the day. Chocolate Brownies, cocktails in the evening. Breakfast is just great and you can even have your favorite omelette.
·There is a business corner with Apple computers and a seperate section if you want to read and relax
·The restaurant is a must. Try to sit on the large wooden table in front of the kitchen and enjoy watching your food been prepared by a multi-national team of cooks . It is a true travel in the culinary land where there is always something happening and worth discovering.
·Try the wine BRUTUS - I believe it is bottled by the owner of the hotel - but you will find some excellent Burgundy as well
The hotel is truly First Class with an experienced staff and management coming from only the best hotels. Unnecessary overhead have been cut making the price of the room very affordable and a great value not only for tourists but also for businessmen. If you are in Berlin, don't hesitate and stay at Casa Camper -. Mi Casa Es Su Casa !

Having stayed at Casa Camper Barcelona, we were looking forward to the Berlin Casa Camper stay. The manager, Alexander, and his staff did not disappoint us during our 5 day stay in Oct 09 (King room). Berlin was our last stop after traveling in Italy & Switzerland for 5 weeks so after staying in plenty of hotels during this time, we were pretty picky. In fact, we had just stayed in a fancy hotel in Florence which was 3xs the price and it couldn't compare to Camper. The top floor (view!!) 24-hour snack bar offered healthy food as well as a pleasant relaxation area, the staff was uber-accomodating and attentive, the hotel location in Mitte is safe and literally central. Just remember that Berlin is a GROWING city and it's the largest construction zone you'll see. We also invested in a private tour guide with Jeremy/Berlin Expert (google him) and he was awesome-try to get him on your first day in Berlin though so the city makes mores sense as you go along!
