“Chic hotel..with a 'to die for' shower!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Casa Camper delivers on so many levels from its location in the buzzy Mitte district, to the large rooms, heavenly beds and amazing shower. The staff were very helpful and the whole experience was excellent.

The 7th floor self service food & drinks area, although expected from the reviews here, was still rewarding...especially when needing a midnight snack!

The rainfall shower is the best I have experienced and i would have stayed in there indefinitely - if we hadn't a city to explore!

Looking forward to trying out its sister hotel in Barcelona...

We stayed here for five nights in September at the recommendation of a friend. For that we are extremely grateful.

Spending five nights here in a spacious and clean suite with Miss Four (who had her own room and bed) was just bliss. From friendly and helpful staff through to having your eggs made to order for breakfast it is hard to fault this hotel. Will definitely return here next time we are in Berlin.

Located in one of my favourite parts of the city good food, art galleries and shopping are just a short stroll away. And as a bonus upon your return you an make your way up to the bar/cafe upstairs and enjoy the skyline.

We are so pleased we chose to stay at Casa Camper on our first trip to Berlin. The location is terrific as it is a short walk to the Museum Island. The breakfasts are great with a chef on hand to cook eggs the way you like them. To have snacks and drinks available for 24 hours made it a real winner. The lighting in the rooms could have been better but the room & bed were very comfortable.

Sometimes you find hotel perfection - this is it. Super friendly and obliging staff. Here they have traded 'luxe' for intelligent, beautiful design. A spotless, spacious room with everything - robe, toilietries, fine linen, great armchair for reading/laptop work, good lighting, and a lovely view of the park and school opposite. Simple but exquisite breakfast buffet with eggs made to order. A roof-level lounge/bar with spectacular views over Berlin. A spacious honesty bar and 24/7 complimentary fresh food buffet that easily doubles as lunch if you're working, or an afternoon tea pick-me-up. Did I mention the spotless workout room with high quality machines and the fragrant sauna and relaxation room? When you do finally go outside the Weinmeisterstr neighbourhood in Mitte has great bars, boutiques, and coffee at the doorstep. Most of all, the hotel has a lovely vibe - a great mix of young families, couples on vacation, groups of friends visiting Berlin, and business travellers. The inclusions make it great value, but the beautiful design, the energetic friendly staff, and the great atmosphere elevate it to 'great hotel' status. If you had to identify a negative, it would be a (faint) rumble from the U-bahn down below -- because the hotel is actually on top of a station. A pretty fair trade for convenience. My new favourite.

Room Tip: Rooms face a quiet side street with a leafy school campus in front; automated shutters give privacy...

Hotel Casa Camper is a very practical hotel which has a no nonsense approach.
The rooms are spacious, the bikes great (though a bit expensive)
There is a 'help yourself' bar/cafeteria upstaris where you can eat after hours and work quietly.
The food is great and fresh, the personnel very corteous...
I can't wait to go back again...!

We have just returned from Berlin (Sep 2013). We stayed at Casa Camper and can recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious and are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We loved level 7, the breakfast restaurant and comfy seating area, computers, and best of all lovely sandwiches, cakes, M&M's and nibbles, drinks (tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice) 24/7 for free. You just have to pay for alcohol using the honesty box. Location of hotel is about 10 mins from some of the main attractions and a few mins from two underground/overground stations. Perfect for a city break! No extra charges for wifi or all those extras which are really annoying at other hotels!

Room Tip: We had a fourth floor room and it was great - no traffic noise!
