“Authentic Turkish kebap experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We live away from home (Turkey) and when we were in Berlin we had to visit Hasir! (We were invited by friends so can't tell how much the dinner cost.)
From the moment we walked in, we felt as if we were teleported to a kebap restaurant in Istanbul. The waiter especially made that possible by his accommodating attitude. The service was well paced, not too quick, not too slow. The puffed up bread was excellent. They have an oven within the restaurant where they make it right there and then; a luxury for us really...
My husband had Adana and said it was great. I asked for a menu modification and instead of minced meat over aubergine puree, I asked if they could serve lamb filet and they did...
The deserts were also divine! We had künefe and baklava and both were excellent! Of course we ended with Turkish tea. We are already making plans to go back...

“Pleasant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

I'll be concise - the food and wine are pleasant - not memorable - credit cards aren't accepted which is tiresome and should have been mentioned. I wouldn't rush to return.

“Good food, though a bit pricey.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

We went to Hasir on a Monday night and the food was good overall. One of the highlight of the meal was certainly the Baklava, which was phenomenal, and the pitta bread which was really fluffy and tasty. Service was also Ok. The only issue I find it hard to justify is the price of one-dish which I thought a tad too expensive : the cold meze platter came at a hefty 19.90 euro for a set of 7 small ramekins. I'm saying this only because here in London there are plenty of Turkish restaurants of similar and higher quality and nowhere you'll pay that much.
A part from this remark, a good restaurant I would say.

“Excellent Turkish Restaurant in Berlin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

It's been a few weeks since I ate in this busy, popular restaurant in a great neighborhood of Berlin but the food is excellent, the service pleasant if a bit frenetic, and the ambiance typical Berlin cosmopolitan. You will be happy you ate here but be prepared to wait for a table. There are no reservations and there is usually a line.

“Food was good but terrible service!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

We were waiting for more than 30 mins to get the food while the other tables later than us already got their dishes. We complained to the waiter and he told us: "if you don't want to wait, you can go"! Unbelievable, how can you talk to the customer like that??!!
