The restaurant is in the Nikoleiviertel, a reconstructed version of "old Berlin". The interior is supposed to be a medieval setting. Unless your doing your PhD in medieval archaeology, flow with it! The food is good. I had venison goulasch and was very satisfied with it. The service was fine: quick, efficient, and polite. The price is standard for most Berlin restaurants.
