“FRESH falafel with lots of crunchy veg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

I love this place. This is where you eat after hopping galleries at Auguststrasse or a stroll through Mitte. The veggies are always fresh and aromatic, the falafel and the halumi are delicious with excellent sauce to fit. Beware of size, though - these things are much smaller that most falafel sandwiches in this town.

“Excellent homemade falafels”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

We tried the falafel and homus plate - both excellent! They make the falafel paste themselves and this was one of the best I've tried so far. Very little place to sit (only inside as it was winter) - it is not really a restaurant. Tasty and inexpensive.

“Great, a little offbeat falafel experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

Actually two places: one is the street stand where you can eat on outdoor tables, the other is an actual restaurant. I assume the kitchen is the same.

Well-made falafel even by Middle Eastern standards. A little careful with the tahini and hot sauce, but this is probably to accommodate German palates. Waitress spoke very little English and appeared to be an early German speaker as well, but with some gesturing it went fine. Crowded but service was brisk. Salad was excellent.

Definitely recommended for lunch, but it might be too chaotic for anything but a hurried meal.

“A bit mixed...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

Not really a restaurant I'd argue - more of an upmarket bar (with accompanying jazzy tinkling of a pianist). Menu very simple - but not too appealing, so didn't try the falafel (although the plates did look good). Seem well-priced for the quantities. Speedy service for those eating. A bit less so for our drinks, but they were worth waiting for. Very good cocktails. Stayed for one and then left. A bit disappointing, really.

“Yes, falafel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

Went there for lunch. The food (the vegetarian falafel plate) was a bit better than average, but the price was quite low; 7.50?! And it was the most expensive dish. So price-quality ratio is very favourable in dada.
