We really didn't enjoy our meal at 'Bangin' during our holiday this week. Alarm bells should have gone off when we looked at the menu and saw the vastness of the dishes available. However, we were tired, hungry and it was a lovely spot to eat.
When the order came my prawns were raw and still white so I sent them back, requesting some spaghetti instead - there was no way I was going to eat another seafood dish from a chef that could serve something so obviously uncooked. The waitress was very apologetic. This came quickly and was OK.
However, at the end of the evening they tried to charge us the price of the expensive prawn dish instead of the spaghetti (which was around half the price!). After explaining to the waitress that this was unacceptable she changed the bill for us.
The couple next to us were not too happy with their meals either and had a rather interesting 'creme brulee' that was basically just custard without the sugar melted on top.
