This hotel matches the rest of the old Rothenburg. A high-tech hotel would have been so out of place in a town like this. We were in 108 facing the street. The room was very large and with a sitting area, a large 32" flat screen and a very large double-sink bathroom with bot shower and bathtub. Also, it had quite a big hall with a fridge, and closets. The hotel occupies several buildings and has elevators (at least in the part of it we saw), You could hear the traffic in the cobbled street but that just added to the whole feeling of being in an medieval town. Lots af charming shops and sights nearby as well as restaurants. We had dinner in the hotels restaurant. It was very good, the price was fair (3 courses with wine menu, for 45 euros per person) and the service was really excellent. We asked to be moved to the bar area as there was a noisy family (small children) in the restaurant, and they set up a table for us there without any fuss. We parked across the street which was free till 10 in the morning, but they also have valet parking for 10 euros per night. All in all, we were very very happy with this stay, and will most likely return again.
