This hotel was right after the city walls; the location was fine for us. We absolutely loved this city and would probably have been happy staying in any of the hotels, but we had no complaints about this hotel!

I stayed in this hotel about 7 years ago, and once again, I was satisfied. Easy to find just inside the walls and a great location. Walking from the train station was very easy to hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice. English was not a hardship. Room and bathroom were clean. Everything seemed updated. A hair dryer was in the bathroom. Please be aware that if your bed is against the wall to the bathroom of the next room, you might hear their toilet flush and shower. Internet is available for a small fee. Breakfast was nice and filling. Would stay again.

We stayed in July for one night. great location inside the wall with free secure parking. Breakfast was just what I expect of a traditional Gasthaus. Very convenient to all the attractions. We had the family suite for two couples -- an especially good deal. Rooms were small but comfortable.

Cons:
WiFi is not free
The rooms will most likely suck in the summer, with such tiny windows.
The bed is way to small and the mattress slightly uncomfortable.
The window is really small and doesn't really open.

Pros:
The location is perfect and it has free parking right around the corner.
Free Breakfast is a great bonus and it has quite a variety.
Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel located in the inner part of the walled town. I was surprised to find out this place was inside the walled town. We were driving through Germany and the GPS led us to just outside the wall. We stopped and and walked into the town without noticing you can actually drive into it. The hotel is quaint and has very nice staff. The breakfast was very well done. There is an italian restaurant near the corner of the hotel which had great food but unfriendly staff. Nonetheless it has great food. My only knocks on the place are that it has no real room views and no elevator.

Room Tip: Paid for wifi it was 4 or 5 euros for 24hrs
