“Great experience and baby friendly hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2010

The hotel is located only 50m away from Tram and supermarkets and within walking distance to some nice restaurants. The breakfast buffet would satisfy even the most fussy eaters - everything is there. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has some pampering options (massage, cosmetic or beauty treatments) which offer a nice relaxing moment after a hard day at work. It is not in the city center though.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2010

My girlfriend and I stayed here the night of 12 January 2010. The room was very nice and the people at the desk spoke English and were great! The desk clerk that checked us in (Christian) even took us on a quick tour of the hotel on our arrival! I booked a double room and it was large and comfortable. The internet was wired and they provided a cable. Needless to say it was fast and rock solid. Parking was free in an enclosed area in front of the hotel which was perfect. Finding the turn in for the hotel was a bit tricky but would be easy as long as you know what to look for. Our gps took us right to it but the turn in is quite small and not well marked. There is a stone wall and you'll be looking for a small driveway through it with a sign that says Hotel Villa Arobrea. Water pressure was lacking but the shower was nice. They have two amazing saunas that are free for guests. Overall a great place to stay!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2009

I had to visit Augsburg for business at the end of October. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before - always witha good experience. The hotel is clean and the rooms very nice and roomy, even for Europe. You could not ask for nicer staff! These people treat everyone like family. After arriving at 1:30 PM on a very warm October day I was very pleased to be able to sit in the garden and drink a nice cold German beer which to hotel provided for $2 or so. Breakfast is very nice. they offer coffee or tea and have all kinds of juices. they have a very nice spead of meats, cheeses, cereals and fresh breads. The hotel is a little outside of the city zentrum but only about a 10-15 minute walk. the public transportation is just a stones throw away if you want to go that route. I will be stying here agian and highly recommend this place. My only hesitation it that it becomes so popular I can't get a room when I need to.

Friendliest owner I have experienced. Beautiful garden and the tram into town stops just outside. Free parking and close to supermarket and restaurants. There is a drinks cupboard with an honesty book. Everything very reasonably priced. Breakfast was lovely and there was fresh fruit in the room on arrival. You would have to search very hard to find anything to criticise.

I enjoyed the stay in Hotel Villa Arborea. The location is peaceful and local transport is very easy accessible around the clock. The public telephone is only 100 metre away. The owner was in the process to instal secured access during night hours.

The reception by the owners and staff was polite, friendly, helpful and certainly interested welcoming and caring the guests they treated.

The breakfast was good with lots of options, rooms were spacious, clean and surrounded by a pleasant garden.

A beautiful hotel for a repeat stay !
