“Very good for transit stays”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

On our ways to Western Europe and back to Romania by car, we stayed with the whole family, including a pet, for twice last year at Mercure Hotel in Regensburg, in 2012. We were treated very well and we had an apartment with all the minibar consumption included in the room price, plus late checkout. The apartment was clean, worm, confortable. The bathroom was clean and adequate equipped. The breackfast was good.

The hotel is located near the highway, so it is very good for transit stop over the night.

A little out of town, quiet!!!
3 minute drive from Autobahn exit. Municipal bus stop at the end of the road, 12-15 minute ride into the town center.
Staff polite. Great location if you prefer peace and quiet.

The hotel is not bad, but not great... Limited parking area, small entrance, small lobby, small breakfast area, pretty crowded. My room had a small kitchen (which I didn't ask for) but it was not that clean...or maybe the overall impression was that everyhting was pretty old.

Room was clean and staff was friendly.
Car park is right outside lobby which makes loading and unloading of bags easy. The hotel is located in a business area which means that a car is a must.
I especially liked the "help yourself to the apples" that is at the reception and free Internet terminals at the lobby.

the location, the closed autopark and the price is good. But the room quality is average. The cafe is also nice. It is near the autobahn. It is good for making a stop before continue to drive. The bath is avarage size. the staff is friendly.
