“Great location to pedestrian zoone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

The Park Hotel was in a great location for heading out by foot through the old city. The rooms were spacious, and the labby was very comfortable with tea and coffee self service. I will definately plan to stay here on my next trip to Regensburg.

Opulent, and very well run. Marble everywhere, great baroque architectural detail. Fabulous staff. Round the clock coffee machine, biscotti, and computer and printer downstairs, bottled water in room, fabulous breakfast included (fresh fruit, smoked salmon, etc). A great value.

Last stop of my Europe business trip, totally exhausted.
Room is surprisingly huge! there was no air-conditioning in the room probably due to the weather. but there is a heater and also there is a fan in the room.
so in order to have cool air circulating, windows has to be open, and it can get very noisy at night. the noise from the cars, or rubbish trucks or people talking can be heard.
TV is also too small for the huge room.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, staffs were friendly, and helpful. The hotel has a grand classic look and the renovation done was great.

Together with my family, we came to see the sights of Regensburg and the area around it: the Donau cruise, Valhalla, Befreiungshalle, Kloster Weltenburg and Burg Prunn. We stayed in Hotel Maximilian for a night (2 rooms for 4 adults and a child), and the rooms were large, modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is in a grand classic building that was renovated, and right in the Alstadt with its pedestrian zones, shops, restaurants, cultural and historical buildings. The hotel is just a very short walk to the train station and bounded by a huge park, and also a 10-minute walk to the Donau river and its boats. We would definitely bring our guests to the Hotel and to Regensburg!

Good location, plenty of shops and food nearby. There is a H&M in the area.
Lobby serves tea, coffee, cookies n water. V gd touch!
Good wifi as well.
Large room but TV was too small compared to room. Room was clean.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2014

Grand building, renovated a few years' back and now operated by the Spanish Eurostars chain. Spacious room, with excellent bathrom, which really did feel like being in Spain. Good condition and, once I put the heating on, quite homely. It was a very quiet period, so not many other guests around, so slightly creepy feeling especially at breakfast. About 150m from the station so really handy and a relaxing environment to stay in after a long journey from London. Slightly weird pricing policy, with the walk-up rates being c. EUR10 more than those on most websites, and an intial reluctance to offer those prices, but eventually I managed to secure the price I was looking for.

Regensburg is a marvillous city, that was the second time I have been there. The hotel is loacated just a few blocks from the altstadt. We went by car, but fi you prefer going by train, the hotel is just next to the train station. The staff is very welcoming and helpfull. The breakfast is excellent.
The rooms are very spacious and clean.
I loved my staying in this hotel!
