“A very nice place, great value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

The hotel is conveniently situated for driver & and has useful bus stops nearby (not to mention Lidl supermarket and Subway)! The rooms are very big for the amount of money you pay and I need to mention that the coffee and bacon offered at self-service breakfast is of high standard you don't usually meet in hotels, regardless of the price range. The parking in the basement is convenient, although it adds to the price.

This hotel is very good.
It's a bit out of the centre but the bus stops outside and is a 10 min ride into town. Buy a 1 day ticket and it's very cheap.
Good garage facility and nice restaurant.
Helpful staff especially when we arrived on bikes and were very wet!

Greatest breakfast while touring area for 10 days...by candlelight....German wursts, frankfurters, cheeses and broetchen....Very clean rooms, good parking, very professional staff...a few minutes from downtown area....A good place to stay and enjoy Germany and its history...

A modern hotel with great space, overhead showers and comfortable beds. Great location with parking, not an easy thing to find in Germany. The food was good, really the only disappointment was the wifi, just barely able to keep you connected.

I stayed 5 days with my husband, who was in a conference at the Regensburg University. I loved the hotel, the service everything was great!
The little problem is the location, since it is a little bit far from the city center, but not so terrible that you can't go by bus or taxi!

I totally recommend this hotel!

Beeing located 100m near the motorway to München ,Nürnberg or Passau, seems the good choice for a stop over.
Being there for a Sunday night , I can not appreciate the restaurant ( quite famous !
but, closed ) and the food , served in the bar, was ok, but nothing more.
No information about the closed restaurant on Sunday evening when I booked ( by phone ).
Rooms are spacious, quite big and comfortable.
Parking , only in the garage, is payable but affordable.
If you are on the way by car , a good location to stop.

Room Tip: Ask for a quite room but don`t look outside ....

3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

Stayed for one night. Hotel is new(ish), rooms are of a decent size and staff are friendly. Certainly not 4 star though - at best 3 star+ and the plus is because it is new.

There was no one to help with bags - you have to do this yourself. Bathroom was not cleaned properly but with only one receptionist on in the evening it was her that had to go up and clean the bathroom again. Breakfast was average. Dinner, while the meals were generous, lacked any real flavour and were uninspiring.

All-in-all this could be a very good hotel - it's just let down by a few little things.
