“Good little hotel for business traveler”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

Stayed here for a business trip in the fall. Hotel is small but comfortable. Rooms are also small but are quiet and it is easy to get a good nights rest. Well maintained and close to the main shopping areas of Nuremburg. Reasonably priced hotel with typical German breakfast offerings.

“Good for business travellers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

Nice and clean budget hotel, nothing luxurious but if your company books you in here you could do a lot worse. No reception after 11pm. Good continental breakfast but the croissants were in short supply and only the very small type. Quiet location but central and just 2-3 minutes from the underground so ideal for trade fairs. I found my room very warm in mid May and there is no air conditioning or fan provided. No pay per view or English TV channels so take a book! I would stay again on business but probably wouldn't choose it for a holiday visit.

“Nice budget hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Stayed here for 3 nights in Mid February whilst attending the annual BIOFACH trade fair in Nuremberg

This is a budget hotel, rooms are clean and nicely kept, bathroom consists of the usual ameneties except there is a shower only and no bath, that said the shower is an excellent power shower

The breakfast is served in the dining area and consists of the usual continental selections, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit etc and the excellent staff will also prepare you some scrambled eggs if you ask, coffeee is hot and plentiful with the attentive staff supplying endless refills

Nicely located near the Weiser Turm underground station

This is a nice hotel, as I say it is what you pay for, a budget hotel with not too many frills but a pleasant enough place to stay for a few days

“Small but decent rooms, good breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2011

We stayed at the Garden Hotel for one night on the weekend. The hotel is located near the main shopping district inside the old city walls and only a short walk away from all the sights. For the price we payed, we were very satisfied with the hotel.
The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom showed some signs of wear and tear, but were generally clean. The TV was on the small side, even for German standards. The breakfast buffet was very good, comprising the usual fare (rolls, bread, cold cuts, cheese, jam, cereal), and also some upscale things (prosecco, salmon, prosciutto).
Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, but has an arrangement with a parking garage about 300m away down a narrow and busy street.
Conclusion: A perfectly decent hotel for a short stay with a good price. If I were staying more than two days or so, I'd probably look for something a bit more spacious.

“A decent hotel in Nürnberg's town center.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2011

This is a decent hotel in the center of Nürnberg, you can get to wherever you want with a short taxi drive or a walk.
The hotel is a bit old, but the beds are comfortable and big. I did not like the enormous pillows they have though, but I guess this how Germans like it.
Breakfast was served in the little breakfast room from 7:00 to 10:00. It was OK with several things to choose from.
The staff was friendly and they spoke English and were able to explain where to go in the town and so on.
They also have free Wireless internet in the hotel, however the room I stayed in were a bit far away from the access point so the signal was pretty poor. My advice is to ask for a room close to the reception.
However the room I got faced the backyard, which was quiet.
The only two annoyances I had was that the TV only had German channels and that a clock tower close by ran every 15 minutes and every hour.
