Located in an excellent location near the pedestrian area and very near (5 mins walk) to the Christmas markets, our stay in the hotel was excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful and willing to go that little bit further to make the stay perfect (for example going out to get croissants when none were available). The rooms are very comfortable with all the things you could possibly need as well as all being uniquely decorated; beds are excellent and they've tried to reduce noise as much as possible with all the glazing but it is still a hotel in the centre of the city. Pricewise it is fairly expensive - we paid €220 per night for a weekend in mid December - but I think it is cheaper out of season.
The breakfast buffet is unusually good with an excellent of dished from smoked fish to cheese, from meats to pastries. Also the barman (not for breakfast) makes and excellent whiskey sour.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed the romantic setting of the suite with the bathtub in the middle of the room. The bathroom was not luxurious, just conventional but clean. The drawings on the wall was story telling and very interesting.

The reception area was modern and chic. Breakfast was good and abundunt.

The location was terrific! In the heart of the old town in Nuremburg, you can walk around town with tons and shops and restaurants.

This hotel is in an excellent location in the pedestrian area near the main train station. The staff could not have been more helpful and congenial. Any small problem was solved immediately.
The rooms have different themes (we had the train room), and the bathroom was modern and supplied with toiletries. There is complimentary wine in the evenings, and a good buffet breakfast in the modern lobby.

This is definitely my idea of a fun and funky hotel. While in an old building, the common areas and the rooms are fully updated and include all amenities. The rooms are themed around a set of German folk tales. In our room, #14, the tale was artfully calligraphed onto the ceiling above the bed. A booklet of all of the tales, in German and English, was included. The location, in the old city, is excellent, a short walk to the market, the various cathedrals, and other sights. Rooms are clean and crisp. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was street noise, although it largely quieted down in the night.
