“Too expensive hotel , but too poor...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 29, 2012

This hotel is a poor hotel. I have nothing with that. But to pay 181 euros for a poor hotel, then you have a problem. Not close to metro station, only to tram, clean, fair breakfast, but not for more than 50 Euros per night.

The hotel is situated right on the highway. So it it is very noisy. Since there is no air conditioner in the room, you have to choose between noise and heat in the room. The rooms are very dark, the bathroom equipment is quite old, the faucet is hard to open. The breakfast is not included in the price, and it is quite expensive - 9 or 10 Euro per person, it is better to eat in a cafe in the old town. The Internet access in only available in the lobby. The staff is helpful and polite, their English is fluent. In general, we regret staying there.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which will not face the highway and which will be away from the elevator

A well kept 80's furnished hotel with all areas and equipment pleasant, very clean. Stuff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really nice. The hotel is very close to the center considering that the tram stop is a 1 minute walk away. Good prices. I definitely recommend it.

Was attending an exhibition, so no surprise the price of the room was high. Hotel is ok but very basic, location not great, need a taxi into the old town or can use the tram, which is ok and pretty safe. Receptionist on day two was not friendly at all, sour-faced and unhelpful, asked her for a coffee in the lounge area and you think i'd asked her for her bank account details !. Bar facilities rubbish. That said if you are only looking for a bed to sleep in, its ok but pricey if there are events on at the Messe.
Nuremberg is a terrific place to visit, loads to see and the old town is really nice.

It is a cute hotel situated in a residential area. I stayed 3 nights in this small hotel during a business trip. It is close to train and tram stations. The front desk staff is very helpful and breakfast staff is friendly. Most of them speak English. They provide free breakfast with some warm items in a very nice little restaurant on the first floor. Everything else costs money such as the sauna and internet. The room is small with a tiny bed and bathroom. Local restaurants and supermarkets are next to the hotel. You can take tram or train to the Nuremberg train station, from where you can go to the airport and other European cities.

A tram ride will take you to the old town and castle of Nuremberg, where you can spend at least one day to learn the history and enjoy the food and culture.

Overall, it is a practical place to stay when you are not with other family members for a simple trip in a typical small town of Germany.
