“Great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

This hotel seems to be in the middle of everything ..I was with a tour group and some of them were going to a biergarten down the street.. The hotel was comfortable, nice room ,clean, quiet ..hotel desk clerks were helpful , friendly, they offered to exchange my larger euros to smaller for me. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a good choice for everyone. This is a good hotel to stay at

The hotel is located across the street from the main train station and the city center. It is an easy walk to everthing you need within the center of the city. If you need information, cash machine, etc...they can help you or you can simply walk down the block to the train station that has it all. There are some quaint German restaurants in the city center (across the street) and an Irish Pub that was quite fun. The castle and Cathredrals are also a short walk from the hotel (in the city center).

Room Tip: There are two rooms...one on the street and the other on the train side. The trains were not an issu...

This hotel is very close to Central Station and the old town of Nurnberg, just 5 minutes to walk from the station. The hotel and the rooms have a normal good standard. God breakfast buffet. The service was god enough The bed and the pillows was very good. The trains passing by very close and could sometimes be disturbing.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the street. The back of the hotel facing the railway with a lot of tra...

I actually boarded a taxi from station when the driver patiently explained me to get out and walk for 100m!
That apart, they accommodated us at late evening without a reservation and an exhibition going on in the city.
These are the two plus-es (apart from good breakfast) we could gather in around 12 hrs. of stay!

I came for 2 nights for business purposes. the location is perfect as it is close to the main train station and to the old city. rooms are small but clean and adequate for a short break. Internet access is extra payment which I find really odd as they should adjust to the real world and have free WIFI...the prices are too high when there are shows around so pay attention to the price that might be too high, otherwise enjoy...

Room Tip: Ask for a room that looks at the street not to the rail road!!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

We stayed here for the Brau exhibition in November. The hotel is 100 metres from the main station and 500 metres from the walls of the old town. The rear of the hotel backs on to the railway and the front on a street to the station. Therefore, the hotel is noisy at night. Internet access is extra payment if €5 per hour. Staff are helpful and friendly. I have stayed in quieter, better hotels in Nurnberg but this is a low cost 3 star hotel near the station for convenience.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

We only stayed for one night en route to Austria with a tour group. The hotel is modern. situated in a side street just outside the main railway station. As you might expect there is a risk of noise from the passing trains but the double-glazed windows muffled most of this and we had no problem sleeping. One of lifts was not working when we arrived but this was a minor issue and we all got to our rooms OK. We had dinner which was good and perfectly adequate (if you are going Germany you will need to get used to eating Pork !!) and then we went for a short walk into the city centre before bed. The room was clean spacious and with good fittings and an excellent shower and we had no complaints. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was a typical buffet offer with plenty of hams; cheese; breads and fruit etc. Plus a couple of hot dishes as well. Plenty of tea or coffee and was just what we needed as we had a few hours before our train so we toured the Aldstadt and castle. The hotel have a left-luggage facility and provided city maps (in English). A prefectly good and acceptable hotel - ideal for the station and city centre.

Room Tip: Most rooms are of the same good standard but ask if you can have one way from the railway line if po...
