We picked this hotel based on previous reviews from Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Firstly with the obviously efficient German transport system the transfer from the Airport was quick and easy on the underground (U2) line. Turn right out of the station and you're just 2 minutes walk away from the Hotel. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and the receptionist Katherine made us feel very welcome and was always on hand to help and give good advice when needed. We just chose a basic double room which met all our basic needs. Even though we didn't have a bath the shower was hot and powerful which is just what you need after seeing the wonderful historic sights and the beautiful picture postcard Christmas market in sub zero temperature. The breakfast each morning was good offering a range of food to suit all tastes. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Stayed here while doing a Christmas markets tour, good room for a triple share with a huge new bathroom. Breakfast very pleasant, good variety and the service very helpful, nice beds also. Short walk into town, and a lovely time of year to visit this interesting area.

We fount the Hotel Prinzregent to be a very pleasant place to stay. Large room, large bathroom, great water pressure in the shower. Bathroom decor is dated, but it was very clean. Nice friendly, helpful staff. The range of food for breakfast was very good, more suited to western tastes, unlike other hotels we did stayed at in Germany. Nice view from our room. Great location, easy walk to town.

I've never written a review before, but thought this hotel deserved a positive mention.
My boyfriend and I stayed here on a romantic weekend in July 2012 in Rm 12. It certainly ticked all the boxes we were looking for, clean interior, comfy bed, great shower, a nice view of a tree line and a window sill to sit on to enjoy some wine and good conversation. It was decorated very minimal and modern, but the wooden floor and rugs gave it softer rustic feel. It was quiet and had a great sense of privacy. The bathroom was modern with unique lights, and ample space in the shower for ahem....two.

It was a quick and easy walk into the centre of town, and across the road a nice park to stroll around if you are just wanting to enjoy a grassy patch.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely place to enjoy a romantic weekend, ask for Rm 12 .... certain to not disappoint! :o)
