This quaint little restaurant is located in an area called the Hospital of the Holy Spirit. Do not be put off by that. And don't give up because it is easy to walk right past and miss it. It is worth the hunt. Inside the historic old building is a cozy little courtyard filled with blooming flowers and small groups gathered around outdoor tables. Inside is more formal but the outdoor dining scene was lively on a pleasant August night. The service is attentive in a crisp and business-like way. Questions are asked and answered without a lot of chatter or amplification. The Nürnberger tiny bratwurst were very good. They come in orders of 6, 9 or 12. My server suggested a 50/50 of kraut and potato salad which, along with the hearty brown bread made a full and seemingly authentic Franconian meal.
