First of all, this review is of the establishment at Sterzinger Strasse 4.
The restaurant is a bit out of the city center, but still reasonably easily accessable with a bus or a tram or a subway. The beergarden is quite big and appears comfortable with many big trees providing shade and protection from a light rain. Indoors the place is quite simplified, or better yet, practical. The list contains a large number of beers from small breweries around the region, and not the usual big brands. Still the prices is clearly lower than in any restaurant at the city center. And the cheap prices reach also the food, which represents the traditional german beer garden "specialities". Nothing fancy, but tastes good. The service at the place was very fast, but there weren't that many other customers. From ordering, the beers arrived in a couple of minutes and the food after the next couple of minutes (roast and potato dumplings).
All in all, very nice place if you're interested in tasting beer from some smaller breweries. Also non-beer drinking people will find something for themselves.
