“Excellent service, excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

We went for an anniversary dinner, the service was attentive, took care of special dietary requirements and was very friendly overall. The food was good, although not too creative, all dishes were made very well and the three-course-menu was harmonic. The wine pairing was an accurate selection. A very solid french gastronomical experience and I especially enjoyed the oysters from normandy! Not too fancy but can absolutely recommend (reasonable pricing too) !

“Very good food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

The restaurant is very small with tables being very close to one another. It has more of a bistrot atmosphere than a gourmet place. However, the food is very good and so is the service. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The quality of ingredients was excellent and the preparation well executed. The food is traditional with classic French preparations. There are no modern elements to the dishes, which is fine. Meat and seafood-dishes were prepared a point. The wine-list is very well sorted and reasonably priced. A 4-course menue with wine-pairing sets you back between 60 and 70 euros per person.

“Busy, difficult to get a reservation. Make sure you do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food is delightful, the ambience great (albeit a little loud) and the staff are attentive. If you travel to Munich, this should be on your to do list. Enjoy

“Interesting French restaurant outside of France”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

Creative and well prepared recipes. Wine pairing is nice and final price is correct. Small room so reservation is mandatory

“Sensational French Cuisine with an Accommodating Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

L'Atelier Gourmet offers a condense and seasonally diverse french cuisine with strong notes of Normandy and Brittany. The menu caters to both Connoisseur and Amateur; with seafood ranging from fresh oysters, grilled sole, and octopus to braised oxtail in burgundy sauce, pate de Foie Gras, and- of course- fillet mignon. The wine selection, degustation menu, and the à la carte entrees are all reasonably priced and may be changed accordingly. The entire staff is extremely friendly and very natural. The ambience is warm and inviting and by no means pretentious. Whether business or pleasure, friends or family; Philippe, Rafaela, and Andrea are a seasoned team sensitive to every guests needs. What a great place!!!
