We ate here near the Munich East station as it was recommended as a non-touristy place. This was certainly true as I think we were the only tourists there and there were 3 tables of local card players. Most of the other tables were full although they seemed to accomodate anyone else who arrived. We shared a long table with one of the card playing groups - 4 lady teachers, who explained that they were playing a local Bavarian game translated as Sheepshead and involving a pack of 32 cards. The authentic Bavarian food, we had Turkey Cordon bleu and apple strudel, was excellent and the service was brisk and unpretensious. We had a most enjoyable evening and would highly recommend..
