Been there a morning about 11, to have a snack on Weisswurst. We were not really hungry, but craving the sausage before 12.00, when they are not served anymore according to tradition. Well, we ordered a sausage each and I had a small beer. The restaurant was empty, except for two tables. Then the waiter insist we have a full meal. We just want to have a snack thanks. He joked, implying we were really ordering too little, that we should have two large beers and more sausages. We politely refused. Then he looked disappointed, and changed our cloth napkins to paper ones, muttering something like "these are more fit for you people".
The sausages were great, the beer too, but we never had such bad service before. Under-ordering at full business time would be impolite but seriously, who would expect people to eat 6 sausages each between breakfast and lunch?
