“Best pizzas in Munich. Period.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Cool location and interior design, absolutely fresh and tasty pizzas, with interesting toppings and crispy thin crusts. Also good for their top notch steaks, but these are a bit on the pricey side. It's a good idea to make a reservation in the evenings too, particularly on Friday nights or weekends. Also a good location for meeting up with colleagues n friends after work for a snack and a glass of wine. I will keep coming back!

“Locals and good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

We drove by this place with tram number 16 on our way to the hotel a Wednesday evening and I saw from the window that the place was crowded by young people and it looked really cosy. The next day we went to reserve a table (you need to do it!). The pizzas are not that expensive but the rest of the food is, well its steak, but more pricey than what I am used to. We ordered the "house special" steak with rucola sallad and parmesana. Very good and tasty food. The place is really nice and the decor is lovely. A good place for young people. They have a menu in english.

“Pizza yes, steak no”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Dry aged grass fed Austrian beef, grilled to perfection. It sounded to good to be true and it was. With great ceremony we were shown slabs of beautifully marbled beef waiting for their destiny on the grill and a hungry diners plate. As a preview the server showed us what would go on the grill and at that point I knew that we were in trouble. The 10 oz cut of ribeye was thin, impossible to grill with that nice caramelized crust on the outside and that juice ruby red interior true steak lovers like. To my request to double up the portion and then slice it table side I received the sad answer that all the steaks were already precut....... A prime steak place, forgett about it!!! The end result was that we each received a grey looking piece of meat with some grill marks and our dreams of a great steak continue until we are back home.
Stick with the pizza, which actually looked good, save yourself some money and splurge it on a real steak when you get home to the US of A

“Not Gluten Free - do not be fooled”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

They advertise gluten free pizza, but when we asked more questions we established that they are cooked in the same oven as regular pizzas - hence contamination issues. I suggest you try Pizzesco's near Gastig, who did have a separate oven for gluten free customers.

“Great pizza in Munich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

We're always looking for a great thin crust pizza, and Nero did not disappoint. Luckily we had made a reservation, the place was packed. We ordered the antipasta platter app, then shared 2 pizzas between 3 of us. The atmosphere was great, the waiters were awesome, and the service was first rate. All in all, a great dining experience. An excellent choice if you're looking for great pizza (not to mention reasonably priced) in Munich.
