I have to say, this is probably one of the best meals I've ever had. I wish this restaurant was closer to me!
We stumbled upon it completely by accident whilst on holiday in Munich. Completely off the beaten track, we were looking for somewhere to eat. It was raining, we had no idea where we were and we were completely fed up. We decided, what the hell, let's just get out of the rain
From the outside, the restaurant looks a bit like a railway station cafe, so I was a little dubious when first going in, but how lucky we were!
The food was simply delicious. It was such a taste and flavour explosion and simply beautiful. There was some strange phrase-ology in the English translations on the menu which were amusing and meant we weren't always quite sure what was being ordered, but staff were keen to assure that no meat products were in mine. Chefs were preparing food behind a counter, wonderful smells, and it soon became apparent the establishment was very well used.
Had an absolutely wonderful time at this fantastic restaurant and tempted to pop over to Munich again just to eat here.
Das war lecker!
