Great hotel with fabulous facilities this is our second visit and we will be back again.
Lovely rooms and the hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Plentiful breakfast with lots of choice and Isa Bar is a great place to relax after a busy day at the Christmas Market! Go for a suite if you can the panoramic views are excellent. Thank you Sofitel - see you next year!

Central location with great restaurants, bars and spa whatever time of the year you stay the Sofitel is worth a visit if you find yourself in Munich. A very cosmopolitan hotel modern and clean. Look forward to coming back again next year!

The hotel was much more in the luxury category than I was expecting. The price, at least in November, didn't prepare me to the level of hotel I was getting. Some great things: spacious rooms, quiet rooms, excellent, attentive staff. The faux-modern decor may or may not be to your taste. It got irritating for me, when I had difficulty working the sometimes confusing appliances.

We were a family on vacation. Much of the hotel is dedicated to business travelers. This wasn't a problem for us -- but it might be for some. The hotel is very convenient to the train station. But it is a little less convenient to tourist attractions. We enjoyed the walk but not everyone will. However, there are lots of taxis at the train station.

English is spoken fluently throughout the hotel.

Very good overall -- location, comfort, service, and price. The concierge was the best we have experienced anywhere. They obtained nearly impossible to get Opera tickets. Restaurant recommendations were inventive and delightful. Our sight seeing was arranged with thoughtful ideas recognizing our interests and experience. Rare and treasured desserts were located and delivered (we love zabaglione and experienced better than in Rome; we are fond of rote grusze and enjoyed it at the Sofitel as well as at the Opera house). It was truly like being advised by your best friend. We left a very large tip (equivalent to a night's stay) and I now think it was not enough. Exceptional service should be rewarded.
