Spent a night here in Nov '11 when attending Productronica at the Messe.
Its near the end of the U-Bahn line, the Messe being the last stops. Came up the steps from the U-Bahn and the hotel minibus was waiting (not sure this is always the case, but for the big Messe events i think it runs in the evenings). If you have to walk, here is the route, as google maps wasn't clear. Go up the steps at the far end of the platform, its signposted "am moosfeld", cross the road and then take an immediate right, walk up the residential road, there is a wooded area almost immediately on your right, the hotel is 5 mins up this road on your right. But this is a residential street, which you may not expect. But that means its a quiet location and not city centre, that can be good or bad depending on what your looking for.
I stayed in the geusthouse as opposed to the main hotel building, the room was ok, had some noisy geusts next door, but thats not the hotels fault, and i was only there 1 night.
Resturant was alright, nice meal of veal, chips and salad. Breakfast the next morning was in the very large dining area and had a good selection of hot and cold foods and drinks.
Any member of staff i spoke to had a very good command of English.
The minibus was also taking geusts to the door of the Messe after breakfast, again i cant say this is a standard service, but im sure for big Messe events they offer it.
I'd stay there again, seemed good value when compared to other hotels.
