“Short stay in Munich”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

Great value for money, although the hotel could use come tender loving care (e.g. flat screen, new upholstery). Free internet, sufficient parking (paid) and dogs allowed. Clean room and good bed. Friendly staff. Good choice for a short stay or business trip if you come by car.

We stayed two nights here and it was a nice place to stay. They had free wifi in their bar/lounge so we hung out on couches having drinks and using our ipad and tablet when we needed the net. We also had a good burger and great chips. The first night we walked across the road to Neptune - an italian restaurant and had top pizza there (as good as the pizza we had in Italy later on in our holiday!)

modern and comfortable bedrooms it is not, the rooms are dingy and old with stains on the paint and a dog smell in the rooms, staff ar just ok and not exzactly, welcoming guests with all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. Satellite TVis a waste of time in english, wireless Internet access really does not work for anything. i waited an hour for a download my email NOT GOOD, restaurant thatis suposed to serve international cuisine with local and seasonal dishes is an absolute avoid this is five dishes and all horrible, dont expect vegetarian food unless you like bread and salad. hot water ran out at 9.30 am and cold is not acceptable for me. the room cleaning staff are surlya nd abrupt , not to mention the lack of towels soaps and toilet paper. the key to the room had to be repalced every time i left the room as it would not work. the hotel is out of town but thats not a problem a there is a bus stop outside to the train to town center. this is a hotel by the motorway so you can hear cars all day an night screaming past. this is also a hotel for package tours so every morning ht e breakfast is full of groups running round mad to get out to their bus. not a good environment at all.
give this place a miss it SUX big time. gay freindly they say .. i saw no gay people no gay staff or customers and none was particularily freindly to us. in fact we were ignored many times in the eating place.. avoid this convention center hotel on the side of the morotrway.

nice hotel staff friendly a little away from town centre. breakfast a little dear but burger king next to it. beer is about 5 euros but does not give you a hang over like back home. Was there for October fest so quiet busy and prices go up but got to expect that.

Room Tip: get ground floor room if you can.

Very clean all round. We had 4 excellent nights sleeps as the bed was so comfy. We didn't have any meals as breakfast was so expensive so we went to burger king which is a 5 min walk from hotel. We got on the bus which the bus stop is opposite the hotel to town. The staff could try and smile. There was iced lemon water in reception every day free to drink. We stayed here for the Oktoberfest and would stay here again, well worth the money. We could leave are suitcase in storage on the day we left which was handy, it saved us walking around town carting a suitcase. Are room was cleaned everyday, air com worked ok

If you are looking for a hotel close to Munich Neue Messe at reasonable price then this hotel is good choice. Although, please note that it is not so close to underground, which is not convenient if you are not coming by car and if you want to go to the city centre or airport.
Taxi to airport will cost you approximately 60 euro.
Hotel organizes shuttle bus to the fair at price of 5 eur for return ticket.
Hotel is located in residential area so there aren't any restaurants or bars close to it.

The room I got was quite big and clean with all neccessary amenities. If you don't expect any exciting design furniture or luxury, you will be satisfied. The breakfast was good.

I would recommend this hotel if you are coming to the fair and if you have a car.

We booked last minute to add a night to our Munich visit, and we were happy we did! The hotel is not near any of he the main sites but we didn't care since we were just there to sleep for the night and then head to out next hotel. The room was small, but clean, and stay we're very friendly (some spoke multiple languages for guests.) Amenities were nice, and the shower large. Breakfast was included in the room rate, which was the biggest spread we've seen! It was amazing, but would have been expensive had it not been included, but delicious and filling. Our only regret was not booking NH Hotels in other cities during our stay.
