Had arrived a wee bit early and was allowed to check in without any qualms. Friendly staff at the check-in counter who spoke English fluently. Brekkie was great value for money - recommended if you are off to a day trip somewhere. The location is awesome, a quick stroll to Marienplatz, just enough to be far away from the tourist crowds of the city centre.

Would recommend this place without a doubt. Look forward to coming back again!

At first glance we weren't wowed by our room; the furniture is a little dated, but it was very clean and the bed was perfectly comfortable. We didn't hear any street noise from our room, nor did we hear another hotel guest at any time. The staff was friendly and there's a parking garage right next to the hotel. Best of all, we walked everywhere, didn't need to take a cab or public transportation once during our stay...that made it a great value for the money.If you are expecting up-to-the-minute decor you might be disappointed, but if you want a clean, comfortable room in a great location this place will suit you just fine.

Stayed here for 3 nights in Dec 2012 and couldnt fault it. The room was clean and comfortable. I agree it was a little too warm on one night and you are not able to turn down the heat so just had to open the window.
Its a few mins walk from the railway station and about 10 mins to the start of the main Christmas markets. Tram stop is just round the corner for easy access to all of Munich.
Staff were very helpful at all times and the breakfast was great - lots of cereals, juices, tea and coffee, breads, pastries, eggs, bacon and sausages. It is 12 Euros but well worth it.
Would definitely recommend this Hotel!

December 2012, our 7 night stay was wonderful in this clean and convenient hotel. Visited Christmas markets, 7 minute walk (can’t beat that!) to the Hauptbahnhof Munich (main railway station). All of the staff were kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are typical small European, but very comfortable, quiet and clean and nicely appointed. Suggest 4th floor with courtyard view (non-smoking floor and quiet, especially if you like to open the window). Breakfast was excellent with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages, all types of cereal, fruits, yogurt, cheeses, breads, danish and cold cuts. Met with Stefan the Manager who was so accommodating and helpful…will definitely come back to his excellent hotel.
