Stayed one night in mid June 2005. Had an apartment which at first sight looked very pleasant, however, when I pulled one of the chairs its back came off in my hands. I then had a shower and the dirty water instead of draining properly simply poured out of the draining cover in the middle of the bathroom floor - imagine the horror when I pulled the curtain to discover the bathroom floor covered in two inches of dirty water! Housekeeping leaves much to be desired as in the morning I discovered a business card belonging to a previous guest hidden underneath a face towel and a large earring on the bathroom floor (perhaps it had popped out of the drains...) I had breakfast fairly late, at around 8.45, and by then there was little left, including glasses or cutlery. In fairness covers did arrive when I asked, but all delivered very gracelessly by the surly waitresses. Now I know that a breakfast shift can be a distressing experience for the staff... still...
So, all in all I wouldn't rush to stay there if I were you - plenty of excellent hotels in Munich.
