My wife and I are huge fans of Mexican food. We travel every year to Mexico, bought our condo based on the fact that was above one of Seattle's best Mexican restaurants, and pretty much eat Mexican food 4 days out of the week (in some form). When we got to Munich we were pretty burnt out on the "traditional" foods of Germany and were looking for a change. After finding Milagros on TripAdvisor, and seeing that it was stumbling distance from our hotel, we had to give it a shot. We showed up with now reservations, but were seated at the bar without any trouble, and we had a great view of the kitchen staff hard at work. We ordered the salsa trio (it also comes with guac) and it was fabulous. Since we had been hankering for this style of food for so long, we decided to get the Mexican feast for two. It came with two beautifully prepared chicken breasts, steaks cooked to a perfect medium rare, and 2 kinds of tacos, duck carnitas and cochinita pibil. It was all done to perfection. As for drinks, I had 3 glasses of their tamarind aqua fresca, each accompanied with a shot of vodka or tequila and my wife had a nice glass of spanish wine. Our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing and was happy to speak spanish with us since our German is pretty poor. The ambiance is also fantastic, very modern and upscale, and complete with a sultry Spanish man speaking seductively over the bathroom speakers. All in all this was one of our best, if not the best, meals we had on our trip throughout Bavaria.
