Another breathtaking church in Munich. Full of character and tranquility. A sight to remember, and always wishing to go back to it!

“Beautiful Cathedral”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

We vusuted at a tune when thousands of paper doves had been hung from the ceiling. At night the colored lights on the doves made them look like a flying cloud of doves were going through the beautiful cathedral.

“Another great European church”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

We enjoyed touring the Church on the square. We like to see the styles and the ages of the building. This was the last thing we did on a 21 day trip!

“The Jesuit Church of St Michael”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014 via mobile

This beautiful place of worship had its cornerstone laid in 1583. It developed into what I believe to be one of the two most beautiful churches in Munich. Almost completely destroyed in WW2, the restoration is awe inspiring. If you like Bavarian history, King Ludwig II (of Castle Neuschwanstein fame), his brother Otto, and a number go other royals are entombed in the crypt below.
