This modern and elegant hotel is easily reached off the Marienplatz, and is tasteful, understated and incredibly comfortable. The restaurant Emiko serves a spectacular breakfast with creative touches and their japanese dishes at dinner are also excellent. The bed was very comfortable; the floor decorated with kilims and the soaps from a high quality vendor. Internet coverage was excellent and included in the rate. For an uplifting stay in the center of the Altstadt, I strongly recommend this beautiful hotel. The hotel is easy to reach using the S8 train from the airport and walking one block from the Marienplatz station. Try the fresh juices across the street in the Viktualienmarkt.

"Louis" belongs to the investor/owner group that also owns the "Cortiina" hotel and "Brenner's" restaurant in Munich.

It is well thought with intelligent features, a stylish design serving the needs of the user and a friendly staff that makes arrival and departure a pleasant experience.

The rooms are spacious (at least mine, in the 5th level was), clean, furnished with a sense for modern, yet cosy & comfy design.

And - the "Louis" hotel its located in the heart of Munich, across the street from the traditional, wonderful "Viktualienmarkt" - a perfect location. And perfect destination to make your Munich trip a lovely experience!

Very conveniently and centrally located, just around the corner from Marienplatz station, but not immediately obvious from pavement level. Friendly welcome and a quiet, stylish and comfortable room at the rear of the hotel, quiet that is when the church bells stopped! Actually, the sound of many different church bells nearby made for a very atmospheric few days. Breakfast was an out-of-the-box experience: an exquisite mix of western and oriental delights, attractively presented and an adventure for the taste buds. During the evening, the restaurant serves Japanese food - not to be missed. More traditional Bavarian fare is plentiful at the Viktualienmarkt opposite the hotel, a lovely spot to wander in the sunshine. The hotel is surrounded by many different and enticing stores so no problem finding gifts and it would take a long time to explore all the cultural attractions within a short U-Bahn ride. Would not hesitate to return if the exchange rate continues in the UK's favour.
