“Wonderful hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2011

Absolutely excellent hotel - clean, modern, friendly. The room was perfect and the TV had a good choice of channels regardless of your nationality. If coming from the airport, you are best getting off at the Hackerbrucke station, going up the steps, turning right, past Lidl then turn left at the major traffic light crossroads. The hotel is on the left. It's a 5 min walk. We got off at Hauptbahnhof and it was quite a walk when you have your suitcases!! The hotel is a tiny bit out of the centre but the S bahn is efficient and it isn't long between trains so you can easily get to Marienplatz.

Based on previoius experience of hotels ini Europe, this one which is farily close to the centre of Munich, gave good value for money. Bright modern hotel with good size bed / bedrooms. Pictures of the hotel on their website were spot on. Found front desk and cleaning staff to be courteous and helpful. Transportation easy either on the S-Bahn (overground), the Hauptbahnhof (15 minutes easy walk even in the snow), and Tram stop practically opposite. Should we visit Munich again, this hotel would be our first choice. Also had good quality, free wireless internet in the room.

Stayed 3 nights right before Christmas. Fairly inexpensive for Europe. Clean, modern, very helpful fromt desk staff. Great German resturant 2 blocks away... Augustiner Keller..wonderful food and beer. Only 5 minutes from the Hackerbruke S-Bahn station...trians every 3 to 4 minutes to Marienplatz and Central Mucnich. S-bahn also goes to the airport every 20 minutes...front desk will give you the schedule. Nice bar, but, not very busy. Nice safe, enclosed parking area for those with cars. Overall a real value for Germany. Hotel is brand new. Only complaint is that it is so new that your GPS will not be able to locate it.....it is on Arulffstasse going AWAY from the Central Train Station...just past the Bristol-Meyer-Squib building.

Great hotel with great rooms and friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was located a little far on foot from the center, but it had very close an undeground station which led you to the center in less than 5 minutes, and which led you almost everywhere you wanted.

The hotel also had close to it a Biergarten and a mall (although the shops closed earlier than whe, the spanish people, are used to).

It was not much expensive, taking into account it was a 4-star hotel.

It was overall a great experience and I would surely come back again to that hotel.

We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms are very modern in decor, plenty of glass and tiled floors. Room was a good size and represented good value for money.
The small pool was a pleasant addition.
Location is a convenient 5 minute walk to Hackerbruke train station from where trains depart every few minutes taking 5 minutes to the centre of town. Trains from the airport also handily stop at this station.

We travelled last weekend and stayed this hotel. It was little far away from city center. We took a taxi several times and payed 7-10 Euros around. you can walk to Hackerbrücke Station but winter time really difficult. Also you can use to tram. From airport to the hotel you should take a S- or U-Bahn. Rooms are clean but wardrobe very very small and we can't hang anything. and nowhere for the suitcases. Breakfast so expensive. The Hackerbrücke staion has a many places for the breakfast/lunch/dinner. Also you can buy water etc. drink. Because in Germany water more expensive than beer. Finally We are thinking the hotel value much less than we paid.
