“Fantastic room and breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

Picked up this hotel as a secret hotel from a well known last minute (.com) booking site and stayed here for 4 comfortable and relaxing evenings.

the hotel is situated about 1k outside of Munich (closes S-Bahn is Hackerbrucke, jump off here if coming from the airport) and there is a tram stop just down the road.

the facilities were clean and comfortable, rooms are air conditioned and spacious. the bathroom came with an interesting window into the bathroom, but nothing could be seen through it. the toilet was also in a separate room to the rest of the bathroom for additional privacy.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the main station, but i wouldnt recommend it with baggage, and is just down the road from the Augustina Brauhaus.

Breakfast was in the form of a buffet ranging from cerials and fruit to a more hearty cooked breakfast. i rate a breakfast based on its scrambled eggs, and these were fantastic. nuremberg sausages and bacon were also a welcome addition.

Spent 2 nights as a city break. The hotel is on one of the main routes into the city, ending alongside the main railway station. It's about 10 minutes or so at a brisk walk but the No 17 tram stops right outside. I was worried about finding parking in the area or having to pay the ridiculous 18Euro hotel fee. I needn't have worried. There is lots of street parking opposite the hotel and 6euro gives you a full 24hrs but Sunday is free. I parked at 1445 on Sat and 6 euro lasted till 1445 on Monday. The Sat night room only was about £70 but the Sun night dropped to £53 - great rate through trivago. I can't say the Staff were overly impressive, not very engaging or helpful, except the barman. The room though is a wow and the photo's do it justice. Massive bed must be about 6 feet wide beautiful bathroom with bath/shower and seperate toilet. Large opaque 'ish' window separates the bathroom from the main room so I take Gillians point about privacy! Floor to ceiling windows. Kettle with tea/coffee but only a few cups worth. On the 5th floor is the pool and Sauna. Pool is not large but is very well done with about 6 or so loungers and an integral jacuzzi. There is no lifeguard and I didn't see any CCTV so take care leaving children. The sauna is in a separate area across the corridor and takes about 7 people. There is a small area off it with 3 loungers. You can shower there and there are loads of towels for guests use and a cold water machine. I would stay again and the bad points are small - happier staff, reasonable parking and breakfast charges.

Room Tip: Not great for views rooms at the rear quiet but marginal. I had 505 overlooking the road but hardly...

Great hotel, not too far away from city centre, clean rooms and plenty of room, only downside was the screen in bathroom as we had our son with us sharing a room, when in shower you could see from the room into the bathroom not very private with a teenage son. Food in restaurant good with a free drink and tapas on arrival..great for visiting BMW Musuem and other local sights.

This modern hotel is really, really quiet. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a tiled floor throughout and a large bathroom. There is a large frosted glass panel between the bathroom and the bedroom which make the bathroom really light, but if you are sharing a twin room with a friend, one of you may wish to wait in the bar while the other showers.

The swimming pool was small, but large enough to get a little exercise. Serious swimmers will wish to go elsewhere. It was also spotlessly clean, and the water was crystal clear.

The beds were really comfortable, and we had several excellent night's sleep. With Hackerbrücke station (trains from the airport stop here) and a tram stop right outside, you can get pretty much anywhere quickly. Be sure to visit the nearby Augustiner Keller.

We didn't order breakfast, with many cafés nearby, why bother!

Free WiFi available.

Room Tip: While all the rooms are very quiet, you can hear the pool (just) from rooms 404-415. Buy snacks a...

Hotel is in great shape and has a nice design. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Love the bathrooms! The breakfast is really good. Wellness area is also very nice. Location is 10 minute walk from train station, unfortunately it's opposite direction of downtown. Takes around 20 minutes to walk downtown.

Room Tip: If you get a triple room, get a suite. The rooms are kind of small for a roll in.

Eurostars was a great base for us while exploring Munich. Everything is quite central and the main shops are a 5-10 minute stroll. That being said, it's also far away enough from the hustle and bustle to feel iconically Munich!

The rooms are really funky with a futurististic and kitschy feel, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, funky bathrooms etc.

The service is excellent with a happy helpful concierge willing to help out tourists and recommend activities.

The only thing I can fault is the noise from rooms directly above, but I put this down to very noisy and excitable guests jumping around at all hours of the morning.
