“A good choose”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2011

A good budget hotel.
My room (a double room with small double bed) was small but clean and confortable. The bathroom was very small (smallest shower I have ever seen).
On first night we found the main lamp broken but they quickly resolved the problem.
The hotel is very central (5min by foot from Marienplatz). No a breakfast was provided but in front of the hotel there is a great Coffee.
The clerks at the front desk were very nice.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on upper floors

Stayed with my husband, room had enough space but we couldn't get a double bed. TV only had german channels and CNN. Bathroom was ok and we got daily cleaning. Location is great. Really close to Sendlinger Tor station and Sendlinger Strasse, with lots of shops and places for quick and cheap meals.

This was a good hotel. It is pretty close to Marienplatz, the city center. There was no air conditioning in the room but the street was nice and quiet so we were able to have the windows open at night. We asked for extra pillows and the reception was very accommodating. There is free wifi in the hotel, you just need a password and username from reception. The hotel is a short walk from 2 metro stops (Marienplatz and AM Sendlinger). There isn’t a lot of action right where the hotel is but there is a little Asian market right around the corner where we were able to get bubble free water (harder to come by then you would think!). Overall a good value hotel.

We couldn't ask for a better location. Just across the street from all the shopping. Just a couple of blocks to sightseeing and the Haufbrauhaus. Couldn't ask for a better rate and free wifi. If in Munich again, will definitely stay here!

Due to the bad weather our flight had been diverted from munich to nurenberg. We had to catch a a coach back to munich,we arrived at our hotel at 3.30am.
The reception at the hotel closed at 22.00 hrs.Upon arrival they left a note on the reception door saying our room was open for us with the key left inside the lock.I had visions of us sitting on the steps outside the hotel in the snow waiting for the reception to open. This was a very welcome suprise for us.
The rooms are adequate and clean but above all very warm. The hotel can be a little noisy in the morning but nothing to cause concern.
This hotel is all about location ,only a 5 min walk to marienplatz.
I would book this hotel again.

Although we stayed here during Oktoberfest, this average hotel was a bit loud, but in a great location!

Pros: Excellent location! Right at the U-Bahn with the Marienplatz a lovely 10 minute walk away. Room was pretty clean, though. Some people have commented on the lack of breakfast but due to the location, there are many places to get breakfast - some as close as a minute walk away. Try the Vinzenzmurr down the Sendlinger Strasse - yummy!

Cons: Previous reviews have touched on the tiny bathrooms and the shower curtains that attack you while you are showering and they are right. Noise was the major problem with a fire station down the street, the street traffic, and the sound of drunks returning from Oktoberfest. Some soundproofing would improve this hotel. Also, as previously mentioned in other reviews, there are some tennants who rent apartments in the hotel and they are pretty loud in the morning - could use a thicker door as the current ones are paper-thin.
