“Great Hotel, Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Great hotel for a great price. Everything was clean and modern. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk to the train station, Marienplatz, tourist sites and beer gardens. There are restaurants and bars close by. We definitely would stay here again.

We had an upgraded room on the 8th floor. Couldn't fault the room and the hotel. Lovely breakfast, nice communal areas and staff v friendly and helpful. Ideally located by the sendlinger tor station.

Only suggestion - have some English breakfast tea out at breakfast! We had to ask and then they begrudgingly have us their posh tea bags from
Behind the bar!

This is a basic, no frills hotel which is well situated only 50 metres from the Ubahn station Sendlinger tor. The first thing on arrival was the pleasant receptionists on check in. A young man explained to me that this was his first day and he was still learning and he might be a little slow and asked if I would like to be checked in by one of his more experienced colleagues. I replied that I would be pleased if he checked me in. He was in fact very good and had me checked in quickly. Top marks for customer service!
The rooms are very basic although free wifi is offered. You pay on check in and the wifi password is printed on your invoice. There is no phone in your room and no wardrobe for hanging your clothes, only some hangers and a few pegs. The bathroom with shower is small but fine. I liked the fact that the window was door size and opened completely with a view over the street and plenty of fresh air, not the usual which only opens an inch in case you feel like jumping out.
Breakfast is the usual continental fare, coffee, juice, boiled eggs, bread, cheese etc and is absolutely fine, no complaints.
All in all value for money especially as I stayed the week leading up to Oktoberfest

This is a nicely decorated, modern hotel that has everything a city traveler needs. Cute shops and bakeries nearby and walking distance to Marienplatz. We stayed here during cChristmasmarket season and had a great stay. The rooms are pretty typically compact with nice size bathrooms.

This hotel was modern and clean with great air con (unlike our hotel in Paris). It is in a great spot, within walking distance to the main shopping st/Hofbrauhaus etc... We didn't get the breakfast as there are plenty of options nearby. They let us check in early which was a relief on a really hot day!

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights and had a lovely experience. Our room was clean and modern but very small. The bathroom was beautiful with a spa-style shower. The rooms were also air conditioned which was a plus as it was warm in Munich when we stayed. The resident's bar opened late and served a range of drinks and snacks. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was in a nice, safe area which was a 5 minute walk from the main square in the centre of Munich. The hotel is also located right beside a metro stop which was very convenient.

A functional, clean and centrally located hotel.
Staff were friendly, polite and functional. Quick to serve and help, the barman in particular was very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were clean, well maintained and functional.
We realised when booking what we were getting, the rooms whilst functional were not expansive. You realise that you get what you pay for....this wasn't the Mandarin Oriental.
It makes a great base to visit Munich being that its 50yrds to the nearest Tube stop...and 15mins walk to the Marienplatz, the centre of Munich.
We never ate breakfast here but had a couple of drink's at the bar.
The continental breakfast certainly smelled good.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
