“Value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

The Hotel One Muenchen-Sendl. Tor is a nice, very clean and convenient hotel that you can select for leissure or business trips. It is recommended for easily city or out of the city trips using the Urban Metro (U) or Interurban train (S). We stayed in a room on the front side of the hotel and was very quiet inside the room (nice insulation). The staff was very polite and ready to support. WiFi is available everywhere in Hotel (free of charge) but during my stay, there were some troubles (connection was interrupted) for few hours. Price of 7,50€ was applied per person for breakfast. Nice quality foods. Value for money breakfast.
Tip.: Metro station is less than 100 meters away from the hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: I suppose that all rooms have the same good insulation but ask teh receptionist to give you a room i...

This hotel was a good surprise for its price and location. It is really close to a subway station, walking distance from Marienplatz, and the surroundings also make for a quiet night of sleep. Staff was also really nice and friendly, always ready to answer questions about the city.

I found the room very modern, specially the bathroom. The bed was also very good. Overall a great experience, would definitely go back.

Chosen for it's central location and low price, it was a pleasant surprise to find the hotel to be as fresh, friendly and accommodating as it was.

The rooms are simple but well appointed, with a modern compact 'Spa' bathroom containing the key to any good hotel room, an awesomely powerful shower.

The staff were very polite and friendly, providing us with maps of the city, advice on where to get dinner and offering a warm greeting as we came and went during our stay.

Breakfast is offered for an additional cost (around €8) and included a free wifi key for the duration of your stay. Well worth taking up before heading out for a day's exploration of the city or rushing off to a meeting.

Around a 10 minute walk from Marienplatz and 3 minutes from the closest metro station, everything you could want is close by.

A budget stay without a budget feel.

This motel one is in a central location, and the staff are very friendly. Although small, the room was modern and spotless and the bed was comfortable. Note there is a dial in the room to adjust the temperature. Also, there are 4 english channels on the tv, you just have to search for them. The wifi was frustratingly unreliable and cut out often. Breakfast was good, typical German style of cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs, in addition to the usual spread. Overall good experience and would return if visiting Munich again.

Right in the middle of everything. Easy check in. Small room, but clean and has everything needed. Fantastic breakfast buffet, lots of wonderful choices! Be sure to ask for wifi password, they don't give it automatically. 24 hour bar which is hopping at night, can't go wrong with that. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in the budget range for its location and the chain has been very savvy with spending their money making these hotels such that you get a great price with a great designer look. Sure, these aint top end boutique but please have a reality check and look at the price you are paying once again! The rooms are of adequate size for price and kitted out with a nice clean modern feel.

Small downsides (and these are just being picky). TV contains no english channels (Advice hear pack some tv/films on a usb stick as the tvs have them, my iphone to component cable just wouldnt work properly with their set up). Also my advise is choose the breakfast option as that way you get free unlimited wifi, however we did have problems at time keeping the wifi going).

Those are just two small points, this hotel is located in such a good central place you can easily walk anywhere and if you don't want to walk you can just jump on the underground whose closest stop is to the right (1 min walk) as you walk out the hotel. Breakfast is the same as you find everywhere else in Munich and of a completly satisfactory level.

This hotel was inexpensive which is the reason we chose it for our six nights in Munich. But it isn't cheap! The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the main train station, about a 1 minute walk to the nearest subway stop and 10 minutes from the Marienplatz. Parking wasn't available at the hotel's garage but the public parking garage was just down the street. Breakfast was 7.50 Euros and it was worth it due to the foods available and the convenience. Breakfast was from 6:00 to 10:00. We caught the train early two mornings and were still able to have breakfast before hand. Wifi was free but pretty intermittent. We reserved two rooms and they were nice enough to put us one the same wing of the same floor. The staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
