This place was 2nd of all the restaurants on Tripadvisor in Munich when we visited. Never in a gazillion years would we have thought about eating Greek and never in a quadrillion years would we have stopped at this very modest front on a rainy Thursday night.
But trusting to the wisdom of crowds, along we went. And sure enough - despite the unassuming front, which leads to a cosy basement - it was an excellent meal.
Zucchini with tzatziki and a pitta with fresh juicy tomatoes for starters. Both delicious and very reasonably priced.
I had skewered pork with potatoes for my main dish, my lovely girlfriend had the famous lamb chops. Both dishes were very tasty (if perhaps a tiny bit over-salted), and portions were more than generous.
A great find. A restaurant I will certainly return to in Munich. Set aside any prejudice you may have about Greek food. If you want to eat well in this part of town, this is where to go.
