“Has lost it's charm”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

We visited here recently again and it was a little bit of a let down. The portions had really decreased in size and the food quality was lower than it was before. We actually felt bad as we had brought friends along, as previously it was so great.

It also seems that they have increased the price of their wines. While they are tasty, they are simply over priced. Paying €35 for a bottle that I can get in the supermarket for €12 is a little cheeky. I hope they fix the issues and they come back to their former glory.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Nice ambience spoiled by slow service and bland food. So OK, it's Saturday night and the restaurant is relatively full, but this should not have been a surprise. Our starters came out super fast, then we had to wait for one hour for our main dishes. The bread served was inedible, one of the starter plates were not removed before the main dishes arrived, and the whole experience left us unimpressed. The food was OK, but nothing special. The fish portions were small and the side vegetables were unexciting. The two waitresses tried their best, but the kitchen was clearly over its head. Not going back.

“Lovely but lacks a bit.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

The place is somewhat special considering where you are. The interior is very modern and the staff is very friendly and their English was quite good. Though I managed to confuse our waitress in the beginning she quickly got back on track. The menu was inspiring and so was the list of wines. The place really tries to be classy and do small tricks like keeping one’s wine bottles in the bar. Unfortunately the staff was not observant enough because I did miss wine in my glass several times. The chef was a bit too crazy with rosemary because he used it for all three dishes we got – which was a bit disappointing. They are trying to be a classy, modern and fine restaurant, but fails by placing their espresso machine in the bar like a café. The machine causes unnecessary noise, which ruin the overall impression. With a few minor adjustments this place could easily go from four to five stars.

With this said, I would still visit the place next time my way crosses Munich.

“Almost perfect!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

We visited Munich during the early days of december and after 3 days of bretzen and sausages we needed some different food. The choice was for this tiny restaurant near our hotel.
I have to say it was a right decision. Really kind staff (the manager came to us to explain the dishes one by one), and overall the food was really good. really delicious paté f.e.!
In 5 ppl we choose almost all the specialities (the menu has few choiches) and noone was disappointed. Maybe the desserts were less interesting (personally ive tasted better tartatin).
The price was around 50 euro\person with wine included
