I stayed two nights at the Arcadia this past October. It had looked like a nice place online and I booked it against my better judgement. That being, I went against my policy of always getting accommodation near the main train station. The Arcadia is obviously meant for people with cars. It is located at the side of Coburg opposite to the train station. This meant a good 45-minute hike for me and my luggage to get to it. Once I became familiar with Coburg my trip in and out of the city centre wasn't too bad, however. The hotel is just fine: friendly staff, clean large rooms, and everything works. Breakfast was fine also. So no real complaints about the hotel itself. One huge plus (for me, at least) was a big warehouse-size store across the road from the hotel selling hundreds of different brands of German beer. Talk about a kid in a candy store...
