We checked out the Gorge after seeing beautiful pictures from some of our friends. Apparently the time of year you visit is important; their pics showed beautiful, cascading water. We got a couple of spots where we were dripped on. Our hotel gave us GPS directions to park at the Olympic stadium-- don't do that. You can drive almost all the way up to the Gorge. Walking through the Gorge is an adventure as the paths are very narrow and there are several extremely dark passageways....it's not the greatest for small kids, especially when it's crowded. People just GO and don't really care whether your kids are clinging to the railing or not (that's in no way the fault of the people who run the attraction, just something to be aware of). It's pretty and I'm glad I went once, but I doubt I'll go again.
