We really loved this restaurant on our first visit. The waitress showed us to our table, the service was great and with a smile, the pizzas were terrific, and the prices were extremely reasonable. However, on our next visit, a Saturday, it was completely different. When we arrived, the same waitress as before just pointed us to the rear section of the restaurant. It was almost full, but we managed to squeeze into a table, and shared with another couple. It was so busy, the waitress was running up and down taking orders and serving food, sometimes to the wrong guests. It was 20 minutes before our order was taken, and another 25 before our drinks arrived. I would have left, but couldn’t get away from the table without asking someone, who was lucky enough to have received food, to get up to allow me out. We waited another 20 minutes before the food arrived. As before, the pizzas were excellent, but the lasagne was a disgrace. Layers of pasta in thick cheese sauce, with little or no meat.
If you want a great pizza in a relaxed atmosphere, go during the week, and avoid the weekends!
