“ideal place for relaxation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

It is a big spa complex ideal for sports, family and wellness. It has a nice swimming pool, baby pools, play room for babies, slides and nice salt water wellness pools with majestic view onto the mountains. Would recommend buying a combined ticket Königsee-Rupertus Therme and so you can save a lot.

“A Place to be on a hot summer`s day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

It was a hot sunny day.It is even cheaper the hotter the weather is.I checked the web site of Rupertustherme:sauna only 27 % full.Rupertustherme a big complex of gym,spa &sauna.Different pools filled with salty ,thermal water and steam bath and what not.I went to sauna. On a sunny day you stay outside and lay in the sunshine or swim. There is pool with heated thermal water and a pool +18-degree sweet water. All counted they have six saunas and some steam baths.I prefer the sauna outside .It is partly underground and has the same fragrance as a smoke sauna.A thing to remember:No bathing suits are allowed in the sauna but a towel is compulsory so that the benches stay clean and dry. When there is so small crowd it is almost like business class sauna.More room for me, more room for you.I enjoyed my stay.Cost with towels 29 euros

“a wonderful soaking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

This is definitely Nr. 1 attraction in Bad Reichenhall. The spa facilities have been profoundly renovated and extended in recent years. There are not only inner and inside pools with warm salty water, but also a sauna resort and a large inside swimming pool for those who want more than salty soaking. The view on the mountains is magnificent and all those bubbles and waterspouts and "Solegrotte" (an artificial cave where a high salt concentration gives a similar feeling as in the Dead sea) provide a nice relaxation.

“Beautiful and Relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

After a morning of hiking or sightseeing in the beautiful Bavarian Alps, the Rupertus Therme is a fabulous way to relax. The spa has many thermal baths, and is clean, relaxing, and has a beautiful view of the mountains from the outside pool. This is one of my favorite spots in the world!

“Great place to relax and take care of yourself”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

The place itself consists of 3 different parts - saunas complex, family part and salty water swimming pools.
We haven't been in the first two (for saunas you have to pay a supplement and it's actually not needed to visit this part if you want to really make use of all the salty water facilities - too much effort for the heart!). So I'll talk only about the third part: it consists of various indoor pools situated on two levels with various underwater massages; big open pool also with massages, swirl centrifugal pool and great views of surrounding mountains and a "salt grotto" - a pool downstairs with very salty water, in a dark kind of cave with nice lights and music. The grotto is extremely relaxing as you're floating like in a weightlessness, a perfect rest for mind and body! Close to it there's a salt wall where the salt is evaporating to the air with a sitting bench near - good for respiratory system problems and for simple relax as well. There are also a few steam rooms. Swimming suits are worn in all areas with the swimming pools (not sure about saunas part). The price for 4 hours is 18 eur (14 if you buy it at the hotel, at least in our hotel worked this way). They don't provide towels or slippers so bring yours or you can buy/rent some.
Very recommended, floating in a grotto and swimming outside enjoying the beautiful mountains with the snow around was incredible experience, great for skin as well.
