We went there for lunch on a weekday. Didnt make a reservation. It has a lovely outside dining area next to the river, and I think if you want to have a table there it is best to make a reservation, as well as for dining in the evening. We sat inside as it was already a bit chilly. It has a cosy intimate atmosphere inside with typical German decorations. The service was friendly, effecient and a bit laid back. I had the Schwäbische Flädlessuppe, and my husband the Leberspätzlesuppe ( spätzle is a type of noodle) . Both were delicious. For mains I had the Maultaschen mit Ei überbacken, (8.60 Euro) it is a type of ravioli that are cut into circles, fried with egg. It is one of my favourite Swabian dishes, and I can reccommend Lochmuhle's. For dessert I had the Rote Grütze mit Vanilleeis (Ice cream with a berry sauce) (4.80 Euro). The food was well presented and everything tasted delicious. They have a sufficient wine /beer list. The prices were reasonable and can be viewed online on their website. They also have weekly or daily specials depending what is in season. I will most definately go again, I think it will be realy romantic at night and would love to sit next to river in summer as well :-)
